    Pastor Steve Blayer

See Pastor Steve Blayer July 9th at 6:45!

Pastor Steve Blayer spent his childhood on the streets of New York City, and was rescued by the Lord from a destructive lifestyle in early 1989, largely through the ministry of his future wife, Audrea. They were married two years later, and have since added six children to their household — Benjamin , Nadia , Makailah , Aaron, Anya, and Taiah . Steve and Audrea served the Lord in the Boston area through the 1990’s, under Philip Cappuccio at the Boston Tabernacle as deacons and house church leaders. In 2000, the Lord moved the Blayers to PA, where Steve served as the Family Pastor at Christ Community Church in Camp Hill under Dave Hess.

After seven years, Steve was called and commissioned to pastor Hillside Christian Fellowship, a church plant of CCC. His ministry passion is to help every son and daughter of God rise up to their full potential in Christ, boldly demonstrate that the Kingdom of God has now come wherever they are sent by the Lord, and live a life of increasing zeal for God and His Kingdom.

    Artist Dan Christ

See Dan Christ July 11th at 6:00!

The art of Dan Christ reflects both his love for God and the natural world He created. Raised on a dairy farm in Berks County, Pennsylvania, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Dan developed a lifelong passion for hunting, wildlife observation, nature photography, and the outdoors. He studied Forestry at Penn State University and was recognized for his artistic talent, though his art took a back seat during his forestry career.

After budget cuts ended his position with the U.S. Forest Service, Dan began searching for life's deeper meaning and committed his life to Jesus Christ. Through faith in Christ as his Savior, he experienced a personal relationship with God that transformed his life and renewed his artistic gifts. His understanding of creation as God's handiwork gave him a new vision for portraying the beauty, order, and harmony of the natural world.

Most of Dan's paintings are inspired by his hunting and hiking experiences, blending realistic wildlife and natural settings to capture the wonder of encountering God's creation. He is especially known for his unique wildlife paintings on turkey tail feathers, creating original hand-painted works featuring a wide variety of animals.

Dan's conservation efforts and artwork have also been recognized by the National Wild Turkey Federation, including receiving the 2009 Corporate Conservation Award and becoming a Life Sponsor member in 2012.

    Pastor Mario Madden

See Pastor Mario Sunday July 12th at 10:00am!

I was born in the city of Kingston on the Island of Jamaica. I gave my life to the Lord at a very young age. Growing up on the Island was not easy, and I never did everything right in my life, but God had His hand on me. Later in my life the Lord called me to full-time ministry and I surrendered. I came to this country to further my Biblical studies and now I am the pastor of this wonderful church. I have learned in my life being obedient to God gives me peace of mind. God has transformed this city slicker from Kingston, Jamaica to a Pennsylvania Dutch country man.

To God be the Glory, Great things He has done!

    Shanna Crum

See Shanna Crum July 15th at 6:45!

Shanna Crum is a contemporary Christian and country artist whose music comes from a real, everyday walk with Jesus.

She was born and raised in northeast Philadelphia and now lives in the quiet countryside of Pennsylvania. That contrast shows up in who she is. There is a little grit, a little calm, and a faith that has been shaped through real life, not perfection.

Music has always been part of her story. As a kid, some of her most meaningful memories are tied to country music playing in the background. At the same time, she was growing up in church, singing worship and learning what it meant to know God personally. Those two worlds never felt separate to her. They became the foundation of her sound.

Growing up, Shanna’s faith was rooted in structure, and for a long time she carried a quiet pressure to get everything right. She often felt like God was watching, waiting for her to mess up, unsure if she was truly enough.

As a teenager, that started to change.

She began to understand the grace of Jesus in a real and personal way. Not something she had to earn, but something freely given. It changed how she saw God, and how she saw herself.

That journey into freedom still shapes the music she shares today.

What started as singing into toy microphones turned into stepping onto real stages. First in Philadelphia, then in churches and events across the Northeast, and later in Atlanta during a season that deeply shaped her life.

After marrying into a southern gospel family band, she began singing and occasionally traveling with them. That season grounded her in music and helped her see that this was more than something she loved. It was something she was called to.

In Georgia, she served on a worship team, built lasting friendships, and grew in her relationship with Jesus. That was where things started to feel real in a new way. Not just singing about faith, but living it.

Now back in Pennsylvania, Shanna is stepping into this next chapter as an artist.

Her debut EP was created with a professional producer and brought to life by some of Nashville’s top musicians. The songs were written by incredible Nashville writers who have worked with some of the biggest names in Christian and country music, and are carried by Shanna’s voice and heart, sitting right in the space between country and worship.

Her heart is to sing about faith in a way that feels lived-in and true.

She plans to release music on streaming platforms, share it at live events, and follow wherever God opens doors next.

At the center of everything is her why.

“Jesus and my family are my why. I want to create something that lasts. Something that points people to Jesus. Something my kids can hold onto. Something God can use in places I may never go. All for Him!” A leading light in children and family music, Steven Courtney is virtually synonymous with fun, upbeat, and laugh-out-loud storytelling. With a warm stage presence and a gift for connecting with audiences of all ages, Steven has built a beloved career around songs that make kids giggle, families sing along, and teachers reach for the play button again and again.
His vast catalog spans multiple Parents' Choice Award-winning albums — all available for streaming on every major platform — and includes songs written and recorded for the American educational television institution Sesame Street. Whether it's a silly singalong or a story-driven tune with a gentle lesson tucked inside, Steven's music strikes a chord that resonates far beyond the last note.
Educators admire the delivery. Parents love the message. Children adore the music and the fun, irresistible spirit that makes every Steven Courtney show an experience to remember.

    Ted Book

See Ted Saturday July 18th at 6:45!

Ted Book serves as a Christian artist and a high school art teacher. He was born and

raised just outside of Lancaster, PA.  He is a 1990 graduate of Lancaster

Mennonite High School and a 1995 graduate of Penn State University where he earned

a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Visual Arts with a concentration in sculpture and a minor in

Business.  He earned his teaching certification in Art Education in 2006 from Millersville

University.  In 2015, he earned his Master's of Art in Art Education from

Messiah University.  He served as both the Middle School and High School Art Teacher

in the Millersburg Area School District from 2006 - 2014 and as the High School Art

Teacher from 2014 to the present.  He lives in Millersburg, PA with his wife

Gina. They have two sons, Kyle and Kadin and a daughter Kenna.

During his completion of the Master’s program at Messiah University, he had a

revelation of how ceramics, light and the barrel firing process reveal how the ultimate

Creator views us. It was through this revelation that the business, Vessels of Light, was

started. This business allows him to create and sell unique ceramic lamps. He has

shown his art and shared this revelation in numerous galleries and art shows around

central Pennsylvania.  We, the "vessel" may be blemished, cracked, worn and marred.

However, the beautiful light of Christ can still shine through and illuminate the darkness

around us. We are able to house and showcase that beautiful light of Jesus, regardless

of our defects and imperfections. In the darkness, the focus is more on the light than the

    piece itself.

Do you need some encouragement on how God views you? Ted will

be demonstrating the creation of pottery and speaking about how we as Christians

relate to clay vessels. He will use his potter’s wheel to exhibit how the bible reveals the

Creator’s love for us. We were made from dust, formed by His hand, perfect.
